This 5-day safari combines Kenya’s most celebrated parks and lakes — the legendary Masai Mara, the flamingo-filled Lake Nakuru, and the serene Lake Naivasha. Ideal for nature lovers, photographers, and adventurers, the trip blends thrilling wildlife encounters with tranquil lake experiences including a unique walking tour on Crescent Island.

Prices are depending heavily on budget (Budget, Mid-range, Luxury) and season, with shared group tours starting lower and private luxury tours much higher, including park fees and accommodation.

Brief Itinerary

Day 1 – Nairobi to Masai Mara. Afternoon game drive
Day 2 – Full day in Masai Mara with early morning and afternoon game drives
Day 3 – Transfer to Lake Nakuru. Afternoon game drive
Day 4 – Morning game drive in Nakuru. Transfer to Lake Naivasha
Day 5 – Boat ride & Crescent Island walking safari. Return to Nairobi

Itinerary

Trip Schedule

Day 1 – Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your safari starts with pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 7:30am.
• Scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, with a brief photo stop at the viewpoint
• Arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch at your camp/lodge
• Afternoon game drive from 3:30pm to 6:00pm
• Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay

 Day 2 – Masai Mara Full Day Game Drives
• Early morning game drive at 6:00am – ideal for predator activity and big game sightings
• Return for breakfast and some leisure time
• Depart mid-morning for a full-day game drive with packed lunch
• Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the reserve and continue exploring till evening
• Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge

Day 3 – Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
• Breakfast at the lodge then check out
• Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park (approx. 5 hours)
• Check-in and lunch at your lodge
• Afternoon game drive – highlights include flamingos, white rhinos, and possible leopard sightings
• Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 4 – Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
• Early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru until around midday
• Depart for Lake Naivasha with lunch en route
• Arrive at your lodge in Naivasha for check-in, dinner, and overnight

Day 5 – Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
• After breakfast, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha
• Visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and antelope
• Return by boat and have lunch at the lodge
• Depart Naivasha and drive back to Nairobi. Drop-off at your hotel or the airport
